Being a self-taught painter, experimentation and exploration are the two principles that fuel my art. While abstraction comes about naturally, my goal is to work towards more actual, concrete pieces. My current philosophy towards my work is extraction from abstraction, as many of the images in my recent work have come from freely painting, and working from there to create an image. Works are posted from most recent to earliest, so ideally for me there is a pattern of development and growth that is visible.
