Evan Hafley is a videographer/photographer/artist based in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Since he was young, Evan Hafley had been entertainment minded. What started as an overactive imagination, performing for family and friends, as time went on, morphed into writing and production. Once in high school, Evan began to find a passion for video and film production, and through his digital video class began to pursue that passion. Whether it was writing, editing, producing or acting, all of it was fair game to find interest and knowledge in. At the end of high school, Evan had won multiple video of the year awards with his friends, and taken part in the filming of 2 musical productions put on by the school. As Evan entered into college, this passion for art and entertainment began to blossom, as many new paths and opportunities opened up. In the College Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati, Evan pursued a major in E-media with a minor in directing. Following this path allowed him to immerse himself in the world of filmmaking even more than before, and what started as a fun passion began to look like something that could ideally be a career. During this time, Evan began to find an interest in photography, and outside of class and schoolwork began to experiment and find his style with still photography and painting. Throughout this creative growth, Evan spent time interning at various places, developing his professional editing and communication skills in the meantime. For his final bit of school, Evan studied abroad in Munich, Germany, and was able to intern at a medical company called neurocare group, who tasked him and other students with producing and creating an advertisement for their product. This experience allowed Evan to further develop his video skills, while strengthening his interpersonal, client relationships by having to work with foreign clients.

As Evan neared the end of school, the social side of filmmaking began to dry, leaving Evan to pursue the more solitary world of photography and art. Fueled by exploration and play, these two things encompass the bulk of his art and photography. Trying new things, going to new places, and expression of subconscious thoughts and processes are what excite Evan when it comes to any artform that he pursues. For Evan, all art starts from within, and every viewpoint and mindset is capable of expressing itself to produce art, in whatever form that looks like. To have the opportunity to pursue their creativity in a professional setting is a dream for Evan, and until that day comes he will continue to create and pursue that dream.
